Five-Day Drop Has Pushed Refinance Rates to Lowest Level of the New Year - Jan. 23, 2025

After last week rising to their highest level since summer, 30-year refinance rates lopped off 21 basis points over a week's time and then held Wednesday at a lower 7.09% average. It's the cheapest 30-year refi average so far in 2025.
